Scope: BRAVO! was hired to design and produce the inaugural Diversity and Aging in the 21st Century Conference with the theme "Let the Dialogue Begin." The conference included general sessions, panel discussions, breakout sessions and special events.

 

Objective: AARP sought to bring together 500 experts,

thought leaders, practitioners and advocates in the field of aging to discuss issues related to diversity including age, race, sexuality and disabilities. The goal was to integrate different formats to engage in dialogue that would continute post event.

 

Impact: BRAVO! created an event that exceeded expectations in attendance, with a showing of over 1,500 attendees. The event was described as being provocative and powerful and has become the leading conference on diversity and aging.
